I trained under the amazing James Burch and Anna Bartrum at St. Martin's College in Carlisle (Latterly The University of Cumbria) and they are the reason that I have this passion for language teaching and above all, teaching MFL in the target language. I would like to dedicate this blog to them and to my wonderful fellow languages teachers here at Keswick School; they are inspirational.
About me!
I am a German and French teacher with (at this moment) 16 years' teaching experience. I currently teach at Keswick School in Cumbria in a wonderful languages department; a fantastic, positive place to teach languages. For 8 years I taught at a school with more challenging behaviour and completely different attitudes towards language learning, so I have experienced life outside of this bubble!
